Advocacy & Awareness
Our advocacy work includes keynote presentations, media campaigns, and collaborative dialogues that keep mental health at the center of public discourse.
Our Impact
- Weekly Dance Movement Therapy sessions for over three years, supporting patients and staff alike.
- Provided ongoing nutrition therapy to thousands of patients, including emergency food drives during COVID-19.
- Partnered on infrastructure projects, including new sanitation facilities serving over 1,300 in-patients.
- Supported women with reusable sanitary pads and discharge kits.
- Donated clothes, grooming services, and everyday essentials to restore dignity and confidence.
- Created flagship events like the Butabika End-of-Year Festivals, The Soul Picnic, and Gift of Time, vibrant, purpose-driven initiatives that bring together patients, caregivers, communities, and champions of mental wellness, uniting us all in the mission to demystify mental health and build a culture of understanding, dignity, and hope.
- Led advocacy efforts through public speaking, media engagements, and national campaigns to shift Uganda’s mental health narrative.
